Important information: The paint of the mats remains intact over time. However, discoloration may occur due to prolonged use, exposure to sunlight or rain. To preserve its optimal condition, it is recommended to avoid these elements. Coconut fibers are attached to the base with glue. Therefore, some fibers may be less securely attached than others. For the first few uses, it is normal for some fibres to come off. Cleaning: Dry clean. Use a brush, do not wash with water or machine. Each doormat is made from the bark of about 25 coconuts. First, the barks are immersed in coastal lagoons for preparation, then they are knocked by hand to extract the fiber. Each FISURA doormat is hand painted and coloured using different stencils. Then, a traditional outdoor sun drying technique is used to fix the paint on the surface of the doormat. Finally, a non-slip base is added to ensure a good grip and reduce the risk of slipping.
